In early 2003, Sara painted the master bathroom walls a shade of taupe, very neutral. She also added sealer to the tiles.

In August 2003, we added a wrought iron fence look around the tub and a New Orleans theme to the walls. The lamp post is by the toilet. It looks cool when the light is turned on in that little alcove--like the light is actually coming from the lamp!

One wall looks like the outside of an old building in downtown New Orleans--you can even see some of the old bricks.

What's left to do in the bathroom: crown molding, a new counter top, backsplash around the tub, paint Sara's closet door a shade of red, add a New Orleans street scene between the wrought iron fence  above the tub. This will include a street car,  more buildings, etc.
